Dr. Jacob Perez
Dr.Jacob Perez is the Co-founder and Director of The School of Leadership (TSL), and has over 30 years of experience in the areas of Corporate Strategic Management, Leadership Development, Brand Management, Marketing and Operations.
Dr.Perez holds an MBA & a Doctoral Degree from Osmania University in the area of Management. He is a certified behavioral assessor and has been conducting leadership interventions for over 350 companies for the past 12 years. He is a certified ICF Coach from Adler International – Canada and also certified by Harvard Business School on Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies.
Over the last 12 years he groomed over 75,000 corporate executives from over 350 companies in India & abroad in the area of leadership and management. He was a Mentor for 8 CEOs, Professional Coach for over 40 senior executives and behavioral assessor for more than 150 top mangers from different industries. He continues to be a business consultant for 3 companies on process implementation and a corporate trainer using experiential learning methodology.
Before setting up The School of Leadership, Dr. Perez worked with the telecom industry for over 8 years - as Vice President with Bharti Airtel Ltd, which is one of the largest telecom service providers in India and prior to that as Vice President with Spice Telecom, which was later acquired by Idea Cellular.
He has another 10 years of experience with the FMCG Industry and worked with an American MNC - Wrigley's and ITC Tobacco limited; and held senior position in the area of Sales & Marketing. Dr. Perez had travelled extensively and has exposure of Indian, US, Asian and European markets. He is known for his hands-on approach & excellent persuasion skills. He has experience in launching some of the best products in India. During his professional career in India, he had launched and developed many brands and travelled extensively and setup distribution from scratch.
He worked at all the major cities & states, and had the distinction of working in some of the remote villages in the country setting up distribution for FMCG & Telecom products. Dr. Perez made his first debut with All India Radio during his school days and had continued till his post graduation. He had presented various features, talks, short stories and plays for Yuva-Vani English Channel, and had the distinction of interviewing some of the ethnic tribals of India. He was a sportsman during college and a Senior Under Officer with NCC Army wing holding a "C" certificate.
