Air.Cdre AVS Rao
AIR CDRE. Rao is an alumnus of Air Defense Management - Secunderabad, and had completed the higher defense management course. During his service in the Indian Air force, he has held many prestigious portfolios like Controller to Hon.Vice President of India, Principal Director of Accounts of IAF , Principal Director of Air force Group Insurance society, Director finance & planning, integrated defense staff etc. AIR CMDE.Rao was awarded the prestigious Vishista Seva Medal for his outstanding service to mention a few. AIR CDRE .Rao is a avid sports person. He has a passion for Golf and organizes many tournaments. He had represented IAF cricket team, and had played with many professional players. He was also a squash player and represented many tournaments. Currently AIR CMDE.Rao is a Director with Special Olympic Bharat - Karnataka. During his service he was awarded the instructor grading at Air Force Administrative College and had trained large number of officers on various aspects of management. He is a visiting faculty with various management and engineering colleges, and spends time in mentoring and coaching young leaders. AT TSL he conducts various leadership programs and an accomplished behavioral assessor and has conducted more than 500 assessments.
